Michele has been wonderful in helping D with her speech issues. She makes it fun; D. barely realizes she is doing any work. Michele is very positive and always makes the sessions fun and interesting. Working with Michele has been great for D’s confidence in and out of speech. She also has a great ability to sense when D. is getting frustrated and always manages to get her back on track! I would recommend Michele to all my family and friends!! She is awesome!

My son has been attending sessions with Michele for about a year now. He has learned many ways to help him with his reading. He has had many accomplishments which include fluency, decoding words, more expression when reading, comprehension of the material, recognition of words and spelling. He has more confidence in himself and as a result progressed in his reading level. She has also helped him to become better at his writing skills. He is now writing longer sentences. I would highly recommend Michele because of her support to families and dedication to her work.

We had a fantastic experience with Michele! She quickly established an excellent
rapport with my son, Lukas, by showing a keen interest in who he is and in the
things that interest him. Because of this, our times with her felt more like a visit
than an appointment.
Michele was very perceptive and quickly identified what was happening in Lukas’s
mouth and what she wanted to accomplish. The sessions were carefully crafted and
well-planned while also being spontaneous and interactive.
Lukas had a great time! I could tell that he enjoyed Michele’s energetic,
conversational manner and her positive feedback. Michele was engaging and
enthusiastic and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for an SLP.

I really enjoyed going to Speech Strength with Michele. She was very
encouraging and helpful. The appointments felt quite relaxed but my
problem was fixed very quickly! I also liked getting the candy at the end.

I started stuttering at a young age. My parents and I went to a few different Speech Pathologists, but they did not suit me, and I did not have the motivation to continue. I began seeing Michele in highschool, where her positive attitude, ability to relate and understand, and her up to date techniques, strategies and knowledge kept me motivated to overcome something that has always held me back. I have currently completed my first year at university, and joined the Canadian Armed Forces, where I have had to give presentations, lectures and lead soldiers into battle (in training). I attribute my success to the confidence and techniques that I have acquired from the work I have done with Michele. She was always available to help and guide me through any situation (speech or personal). I would strongly recommend Michele to any person, young or old, who is in need of speech support.

Michele was my sons regular SLP from the age of 3 up till he entered kindergarten and in those two short years, she diagnosed him with Speech Apraxia, gave him excellent skills to better his speech so everyone around him can understand him and became an advocate for him in other developmental areas as well.
It took us two years prior to being set up with Michele where no one really took my son's speech delay seriously and figured it was just him being a busy boy with no time to talk. We were frustrated because as parents we knew it wasn't that simple and upon our first appointment with Michele, she immediately knew this was no ordinary speech delay and acted quickly to get him into a specialized program fit to his specific needs for Apraxia. She was incredibly patient with my son as he also has some behavioural quirks. She could 100% get down to his level, has a vast knowledge of many speech disorders which was perfect for us as my son didn't fit into a neat little box, and she was readily available at any time we needed her. Her approach is professional but with a lot of personal touches as well, which makes her a rock star in our eyes.
Our now 6 year old is speaking with much more clarity and most people around him can understand him thanks to Michele's skills, persistence and encouragment.
Our family is forever grateful for all that Michele has done for us and continues to do for us and I highly recommend her to others who are looking for a speech therapist.
